Day 01 - Airport Pickup / Koggala / Still Fishermen

You will be get a warm welcome from representative of Mc Island Life travels and tours. After that you will be transfer to your beach hotel in Koggala.

Lunch at the hotel and refresh yourself.

Late afternoon visit the fishing village of weligama is famous for the fishing technique used by the fishermen of the village. They cast their lines out while balancing themselves quite cleverly on a 20-50 meter pole in the shallow waters.

Day 02 - Dolphin and Whale Watching / Udawalawa National Park Safari

Early morning visit for Mirissa whale watching. Mirissa and dondra head on the south coast are perfectly placed for some excellent whale watching, with the former being the hub for expeditions and accommodation. There you will be able to watch 26 species of whales and dolphin in their natural habitat.

Lunch en route at a local restaurant

Afternoon visit the udawalawe for the safari by a jeep. Udawalawe national park is unique in terms of consistency in numbers of elephants roaming the park. You may spot other animals in the park including water buffalo, wild boar, spotted deer, sambar deer, jackal, black-naped hare, and mongooses. When the tour ends you will be taken back to the hotel.

Day 03 - Sun, Sand & Beach Relax

Down south beach is which is truly symbol of calmness and cleanness. It gives yourself a calm and natural treat. There is plenty of space of everyone to settle in perfectly and enjoying sun bath to the fullest.

Day 04 - Galle / Madu River Safari / Turtle Hatchery

Enjoying a delicious breakfast at hotel and leave for galle 17th century dutch fort a UNESCO protected world heritage site walk down galle fort’s narrow streets line building which are still in use, sturdy ramparts looking out to the seas and light house.

After lunch visit Madu river safari, a wonderful way of seeing some of the hundreds of species of plants and animals. There are around 64 islands in the river and lagoon, from tiny speck housing a deserted shrine to one housing 250 families connected to the mainland with a very long footbridge.
Late evening visit Kosgoa’s marine turtle hatchery- a valuable conservation project that protects the endangered marine turtles of Sri Lanka.
